I thought I should introduce myself by way of my experience so far. My kundalini experienced started about 4-5 years ago but was interrupted by chemotherapy which seemed to set me back to the start of the process.
Now, a couple of years since chemo, my kundalini seems (at least to me) to have reached my third eye (again) though there seem to be new factors which may be blocking it (at least for now) from moving into the higher chakras where I sensed it was before (though I may be misinterpreting this previous experience). My chakras seem to be clear enough most of the time (I live in the countryside and try to practice mindfulness and clearing most days) but my colour sense seems to vary between green and violet, having previously been yellow and white.
I feel stronger and healthier than I ever have before (as if 30 years younger, in some ways) and see this as a great blessing.
I’m not a particular fan of in person or internet ‘zoom’ meetings but am certainly interested to know how folk with more experience choose to try and direct themselves.
all is well

Thanks for the welcome and your experience, Alan.
It’s good to hear that others have very similar experiences.
My experience also includes the ‘automatic’ positions that you refer to. In my case they typically resemble yoga positions (particularly personal variants on the tree position) and these sometimes occur automatically during the transition between asleep and fully awake.
It certainly seems to me that we (all living entities) are indeed one and that all is well, always.
Hi Keith, and welcome to the Kundalini Collective.
I am not sure that I have more experience than you necessarily, my kundalini "erupted" also 5 years ago.
My initial experience was very difficult (I have written about it in the Blog of this website), but I feel I have gained a huge amount since and that in the middle and longer run it has been very much a gift.
We are all different, and our experience of kundalini likewise varies person to person, although I believe there are very much common themes. My ways of, as you put it "directing" myself. are both internal and external. My internal world includes a regular heartfulness meditation where I I try to bring the centre of consciousness to the heart area. I also find myself doing Reike hand positions on various chakras. This is an automatic practice; I find myself waking up with my hands in certain positions over different chakras.
Externally, like you I enjoy spending time in the countryside which feels important and exercise regularly and eat healthily....although I still enjoy a few beers on occasion!
Also for me it is important to "serve", to try to make a small positive difference. I have gained a huge amount over the last 3 years or so by being involved in supporting others going through spiritual emergence(cy) including kundalini awakening. This involvement, which has led me to meeting a number of inspirational people, has been an important factor in my recovery from an initially very difficult kundalini awakening. For me it has taken the focus away from "me" and enabled me to connect more with the collective, and realising on a deeper level that "I" do not inherently exist....that ultimately we are all part of the one consciousness.
I hope Keith that some of these thoughts/ ideas are helpful, though as I say we all have our own personal experience and ways of moving forward.
