Talking about the Stages of Mankind
I have heard how people worry about how to reach other people who are not impacted by Shakti directly. I read an obscure book decades ago which gave me some perspective. It was written by Yogananda's Guru, Shri Yukteswar. He talks about the ages of Brahma. We are currently in an age where man cannot perceive anything but "gross material creation". So I guess that is why we are here!

Thanks, Yukteswar's 24,000 year cycle is an interesting take on the Maha Yuga which in the classical Puranas is a cycle of 4,320,000 years.
