Hello Everyone, I know many people going through spiritual awakening have food sensitivities and certain foods such as potatoes are said to be grounding.
I've tried many approaches ranging from eating mainly vegetables grown in my own garden to a vegetarian diet to eating more meat but I haven't settled on an approach which feels quite right.
Just wondering if anyone has adopted a specific diet which is affordable and fairly easy to stick to? What would you recommend?

Hi Jo, I thought I'd share the only way of eating that I seem to be able to tolerate. After many many years of chaotic eating, lots of times of feeling 'not right' for the last couple of years this has suited me best of all.
I pretty much eat the one large meal a day, with just water the rest of the time. I have organic white basmati rice, organic tofu, avocado, and a large amount of varied roasted vegetables and pumpkin seeds, using olive oil. Maybe a couple of times a week if I feel I need it, I have a couple of teaspoons of organic nut butter - almond or hazelnut mostly. I am sure lots of people could pick holes in this, but it really does seem to suit me, and satisfy me and my 67 year old body, and it seems to be grounding enough without sapping my energy. I have found I can't tolerate any sugar at all, even fruit. I think it's all about following our own bodies. Eating 'healthily' is such a minefield now.
