Hello again everyone.
Before I was informed that I had had a kundalini awakening from a healthcare provider, I latched onto the idea that I had hallucinogen perception persisting disorder (HPPD). Google HPPD for a list of its symptoms. Wikipedia does a good job describing HPPD, and there are actually some scholarly/peer reviewed articles regarding HPPD. My K awakneing was partly due to experimenting with pyschedelics (although I only dabbled in them and took them only a few times). In addition to head pressure/ feelings of energy coursing through my system/ etc after my awakening, I also had visual anomalies. To this day, I still see purple dots in in front of my visual field, "floaters" especially when I look at the blue sky, everything seems to move and breathe a bit, and I see "tracers" at night when looking away from bright lights. Also, during the day, colors seem very vibrant and everything seems illuminated (this is a visual change I enjoy). It has been MANY, MANY years since I last took any sort of powerful hallucinogen, but I still experience these visual symptoms to this day to the same degree I did when they first started. My hppd symptoms emerged at the exact same time as my K awakening, so I am convinced that the two are very much related. I am of the opininon that many of those with hppd symptoms may have experienced a kundalini awakening.
I'm curious as to what visual changes anybody else has experienced after their awakening. Have you guys had any visual anomalies after your K awakening? If so, what types of visual changes have you experienced?
Hi Stephen,
Colours became much more intense for me when I had my kundalini first rise. It is hard to judge but I think that intensity of colour has remained.....I really notice now for example the bright light green colour of new leaves in Spring....don't think I did before.
