I'm very curious - how did this piece come into existence? Did you have a concept in mind that you expressed through your art or, perhaps, the piece created itself via pure inspiration?

Usually I work randomly until something takes shape and I lean into that. Instead of completing that image, I work through it and usually many more until the piece acquires a deep and complex identity. Then a final image hopefully presents itself and I know to finish it and leave it be.

I'd like to see some of yours if you're willing to share..
