Hi all,
We need to update and expand the support section of the website. Any suggestions please? What support have you found useful? Can you recommend any books, videos, or perhaps counsellors that have understood kundalini and made a positive difference.
The sad passing of Bonnie Greenwell leaves a significant gap when it comes to informed and grounded support, so any recommendations on this front would be particularly useful.
Thanks.
It would also be useful to include practical information on how to ameliorate the physical and energetic systems. When my energy system entered the 'electric fence' stage I was fortunate to find a few people who advised me on how to draw off the excess energy with stones and crystals or I don't think I would have made it through.
Hi everyone,
For me the most useful support was having someone I could talk to who saw my experience as real, and normalised it for me. Bonnie, when I met her through Adyashanti suggesting an Assessment, did that for me. It made all the difference! Having done Bonnie’s four month training course in working with people who are experiencing Kundalini and awakening experiences, which centred around learning and using her Kundalini Assessment, I would be up for offering this. I am also a trained Counsellor so could be a potential resource for people wanting some ongoing sessions. My website is: Counsellingforawakening.co.uk and I am happy for it to be added to any resource list we create. With Jo on being up for discussions around this!
The most useful thing was my initial meeting with Bonnie and the contacts I made both on her course and through this group which she recommended to me. Bonnie's sessions focussed on training out her kundalini assessment method and her hope was that others would continue her work in that area. I'm quite interested in offering an initial assessment service as it's always interesting to hear about other people's experiences and offer some support. I wonder if anyone else would be interested in discussing how we might take this forward?
Hiya,
Most recently I've found useful and supportive:
1. Mary Mueller Shutan book: (grounded, non fear- based, speaks a lot about doing the emotional work/ trauma and the body)

2. Craig Holliday on Youtube (grounded, very human, Buddhist/ Tantric flavour)
