As before we will meet at the entrance to Kensington Gardens / Hyde Park which is opposite the entrance to Lancaster Gate underground Station at 2.30pm on Saturday 6th December,

It will probably be literally " a walk in the park! ", and there are some decent cafes to choose from too.

These meetups are very relaxed and informal affairs and a great opportunity to connect and share. More details will be posted closer to the time. It would be really helpful if you could reply to this post if you are coming. Look forward to hearing from you.

Topic: Spiritual Practice: Discipline, Balance, Surrender?

Jacqui will talk about the wide variety of spiritual practices she has explored over her 40-year path from atheism, through conservative evangelical - then mystical / contemplative - Christianity, to kundalini awakening. Guided by the question, ‘What brings you to life and what deadens you?’, she will consider what makes a practice a spiritual one, whether or not it is necessary to choose and commit to one spiritual practice, and when to let go of all spiritual effort. There will be no one-size-fits-all answers, but some pointers towards opening out the spiritual journey through creativity, embodied wisdom, the power of symbol and the importance of longing.
