Hi everyone,
My name is Shyam. My kundalini journey started a few years back when I was experimenting with different meditations, most notably when I was doing meditations from a book I was reading by Dr Joe Dispenza. The meditations were unlike anything I had previously experienced. I felt at times, that I had entered a space of total silence, maybe bliss and it felt great.
However, this feeling I would experience during the meditations was seemingly temporary and I would feel this underlying sense that something was missing or that there was something that I was not totally aware of within myself.
I had been doing the meditations for a few months when all of a sudden a pressure arose in my head, specifically at the top of my head. It went away at first but it came back and I have been dealing with it ever since. I was 20 at the time and I started to believe that I was spiritually broken and that I had done something very wrong. It was very dark initially as I didn't know what I was experiencing.
It was this constant pressure, at times it would become a bit weaker and at times more intense. It became very hard to navigate through life, even the simple things became so difficult. I was scared to look into what I was experiencing, and I never did until last year.
Along with this pressure, I have this constant ringing in my ears if that's the best way to describe it. When I am more aware of it, the sound becomes louder. Not an unbearable sound, it's quite nice to just be aware of it at times.
I came across an article by Tara Springett about head pressure and how it related to kundalini. She spoke about what it represented and how it's sort of related to our ego and certain ideas we hold about ourselves.
I started doing a guided meditation, with the focus on connecting to our higher consciousness and feeling this light expand into the body. Focusing on caressing those areas where I was experiencing discomfort and pain. I also find it quite comforting to connect to a deity, for me this is usually Shiva.
I find myself getting very stuck in my head in familiar patterns. It just seems like I have a very negative outlook on what I'm experiencing. Almost as if it has ruined my life! I find that I become quite controlling over the whole process, and this just creates more resistance within me which ultimately affects the symptoms that I'm experiencing.
In the last year, I have also developed some issues in my stomach/abdomen regions. It started with acid reflux which I had experienced in previous years but would seemingly go away. This time it didn't and it felt like it was getting worse. This was accompanied by a strange pain which was concentrated on right side of my abdomen, which started to get much worse. I then noticed that the pain would move from one side to the other.
I have been to a doctor who did initially prescribe medication which did help and I will also be getting a scan of the area soon as well.
In the last few months, this pain has seemingly gotten better and at times it just disappears. I really feel a sense that there is a lot of energy/emotional pain which is stored in this area and at times it has come up.
I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read this and respond.
Thanks!
Blessings Shyam,
I appreciate hearing your story. In my own awakening it started with a book and doing the ritual exercises. It seems our higher self knows where we might find the key to unlock the tumbler of the lock.
I have a different perspective about the pressure in the head. I am an energy healer and work with clients in various phases of their process.
There can be different reasons for the pressure in the head. Key is having a daily practice that allows for our being to freely move the energy through our system. Pressure in the head may be blocked chakras, energies seeking to liberate themselves, barometric pressure, etc. Learning a practice to self-clear like yoga, energy healing, some kind of exercise, prayer or meditation, etc is good.
Our system is like a goldfish bowl. We need to refresh the energy every day and move the stagnant energy out.
Negative thoughts, to me, are an indication that spiritual clearing would be beneficial. We all have them from time to time but if they are persistent it may be an indication we are dealing with outside interferences. Observation of our thoughts is the number one indicator if we are in need of self-clearing.
From my perspective, the pain moving from side to side in the abdomen would also be an indication of blocked chi. For my acid reflux, I have removed all processed carbs and also starches from my food practice. I have gone back to eating mostly raw vegan which helps a great deal. I make myself a hot toddy of Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, honey and water. It brings me immediate relief. I drink after I've eaten something I know I am going to regret.
Ringing in the ears is often misunderstood. If one is on a spiritual path and the ear ringing begins, it is most likely that you have been reconnected to the sound current, Logos, the Word, etc... The sound current is the creative frequency of God underlying all creation.
For me it started as low tones and as it purified the nadis it has culminated in to cacophony of white noise. In my process I can now hear the sound vibration of Light.
It may start out as an ear infection. It can be very disturbing and being misunderstood many will seek to medicate themselves for tinnitus.
My spiritual teacher, a master, says there are basically 2 ways the sound current is activated. Via locally or en masse by a master. It is a great blessing. Google for books on the subject. I like the master Kirpal Singh and his writings ... I believe the title "Naam or Word..."
If you are inclined, in the short term I would look into acupuncture or an energy healing session for the head pressure and stuck chi. A good daily practice that circulates the breath is good. Hot springs, sauna and warm bath are also good for opening chakras or to aid the releasing process. Monitor the negative thoughts and flip to gratitude thinking xoxo
Kind regards,
xoxo Blue Star

What bothers me:
Several times i had noticed that when i detect something on me (usualy symptoms of energetic shifts),sooner or later,i will stumble upon other people (who are not into this),experiencing the same thing...
For example...
I wake up at 3:00-4:00 for no reason, with a headache...
I go to work and someone will tell me'man,i have a headache and today i woke up earlier than usual'
Such things happen a lot and i start to wonder if some of the kundalini symptoms have roots elsewhere..
It feels like something's going on on a larger scale, affecting individuals almost the same way...
Hi there
Everything begins in energy xoxo
Pressure in the body is an indication of stuck energy. Chakras mediate the energy coming and going. The head chakra is a major release point of energy.
Negative thoughts and negative thought loops indicate negative outside interferences and should be cleared. A competent energy healer can support you in this.
Considerations
Energy pressure ... a modality that moves the energy through the system every day. Exercise, yoga, tai-chi, prayer, meditation. Energy self-healing
In order to release the pressure it may be helpful to seek out a competent energy healer to clear the system energetically. This is helpful to clearing the negative thoughts, densities and darkness. harmonize the thoughts
Observe the thoughts and when the negative ones come in ... shift to gratitude. Begin each morning and nighttime with recalling 3-5 things you are grateful for xoxo
Sound baths
Sound Current
Ringing in the ears is a great blessing. It is a sign you have been reconnected to the Sound Current/Word/Logos/Naam. This is often misdiagnosed as tinnitus and drugs are prescribed. The tones are receiving downloads from the multi-verse and detoxing your nadis (energetic infrastructure).
The tones may start out as a low frequency coming from one side. As the system purifies the tones will rise higher in frequency ending in a cacophony of white noise. It is helpful to focus on the tones as you go to sleep and meditate upon them.
The Sound Current is represented in our mythology by the instruments of the lyre, trumpet blasts, Krishna playing the flute.
Sound ~ Light ~Vibration xoxo Working in energy I hear the vibration of Light.

Acid reflux ... Raw vegan diet is very helpful in healing. get rid of processed foods and complex carbs, tobacco, alcohol, drugs ...
Keep up the good work!! xoxo
I have exactly the same symptoms, I found Bonnie Greenwell books very good actually, and did meet her when she was alive. I have found that I am fairly sure the energy is persistent and revealing itself in areas that its dominant in I am a big thinker and pretty sure the sensations are showing me where the energy is, it seems since I let go of outcomes and downgraded the 'little me' that it is easier and seems to be working through, but this has taken a lot of trial and error - I'm 12 years into this and try to stay hopeful and grateful.
In a weird way, if it disappeared tomorrow and never came back I would be gutted.
Hope this helps a little 😊
These are all familiar to me as well.
I hear something like white noise inside my head.. Sometimes it's a high pitched sound, sometimes white noise, sometimes it turns off..
I think it has to do with pressure.. Maybe the blood, maybe kundalini, whatever it is,it shifts pressure, causing blury vision, and eye disfunctions in general..
Sometimes i was requesting from her to destroy anything and anyone from my system, and few days later and without warning,i could feel energy rising to my brain, causing intense pressure and something like suffocation.. And then it was turning to peace..
Also i had intense pains to the right abdomen area for a period as well. Muscle spasms, twitching, burning.
Once i turned my diet to a healthy direction, things were much better.
As usual, you can only endure kundalini symptoms.
There are no remedies.
And the more ressistance you apply, the worse it gets.
