Lawrence Edwards, PhD, has over 50 years of experience in meditation practice and instruction. He us the author of many books including Awakening Kundalini: The Path to Radical Freedom. Lawrence founded Anam Cara Meditation, aiming to make meditation teachings accessible to all.A former board-certified neuro-biofeedback specialist and licensed psychotherapist, Dr. Edwards retired in 2023 to focus on meditation and mentoring.
He has served in significant roles, such as President of the Northeast Regional Biofeedback Society and clinical instructor at New York Medical College. Dr. Edwards provides online spiritual mentoring, Jungian dreamwork, and meditation training, specializing in Kundalini processes. He was President of the Kundalini Research Network for twenty years and is globally recognized for his expertise in this area. Educated at the University of Connecticut and Temple University, he has studied under renowned figures like Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and the Dalai Lama.
