New Podcast - Joanne Amadasun - Kundalini, Christianity and Shamanism
After practicing as a Christian for many years, life events caused Joanne to leave the church she had faithfully attended each week and question everything she had once believed. She found the inner conflict about her faith deeply distressing and was struggling with anxiety. After taking a short NHS course in mindfulness, she started walking in Nature where answers seemed to come to her spontaneously in shamanic form. Her new-found connection with Nature began a process of deep healing and culminated in an energetic/ kundalini awakening in 2019. Joanne believes that social conditioning and trauma mask our true nature and she is developing an approach to support the embodiment of our true nature/ higher self using tools such as dreamwork, process work, trauma therapy and deep intuition. She enjoys helping others to develop and integrate spiritual gifts as well as exploring life purpose and spiritual callings. She has a keen interest in dreams and works with dreams to support her own awakening process as well as drawing on dreams to inform her work with others on a subconscious level. She enjoys researching approaches to healing and has trained in counselling, energy psychotherapy, shamanic healing and soul readings. Joanne joined Kundalini Collective in 2020 and has been a key member, supporting group members through providing one-to-one support as well as hosting some of the Friday online peer-to-peer support meetings and starting up the monthly Discussion group which provides an opportunity to explore different topics relating to kundalini and spiritual awakenings.
