Topic: Coping with a challenging Kundalini Awakening and spiritual emergency.
There’s a wealth of wisdom held in our community and this month two of our members, Veronika and Alan will share some of that wisdom by talking about their own Kundalini awakening experience. Both had to cope with what we would describe as a spiritual emergency. For Alan this has been a 10-year journey and for Veronika much more recent, so this talk will provide two very contrasting perspectives in terms of the length of time they’ve had to integrate their experience. They will share what has helped them, what didn’t and what they might do differently with the benefit of hindsight. This promises to be informative, useful and helpful session for others in the community, and as always, it will be an opportunity for everyone to ask questions, share and discuss.

About Alan
Along with Sameer Patel, Alan founded the Kundalini Collective, driven by a desire to create peer to peer support and community for those going through the awakening process. This sense of purpose came directly from his own experience of a very powerful eruption of kundalini 10 years ago, that led to a full-blown spiritual emergency including an admission to a psychiatric hospital. Alan speaks about what helped to transform this crisis into what he sees to be the great gift of an energetic awakening.
About Veronika
A year ago, Veronika experienced a spontaneous Kundalini awakening that quickly turned into a spiritual emergency, disrupting her ability to function in everyday life. Although she had spent five years involved in spiritual circles, no one around her could clearly explain what was happening. She recently joined the Kundalini Collective and is committed to raising awareness about spontaneous Kundalini awakenings and helping others recognise how these experiences can manifest.
