Somatic Awakening

I have method of three points:

  • Body Awareness Meditation (akin to Somatic Meditation): meditate on all sensations, areas and possibly, dimensions of your body. Become aware of them. Extend all you know about different meditations: Attention is the key to enlightenment, and somatic attention is the key to enlightenment in material, body-based world, like being a definition of it. Kundalini experience could be part of it, or it's essence. In development, start to observe sensations from outside world.

  • Body Awareness Exercise: feel the Tensions, Pains and Diseases in your body. If you can not sense internal organs yet, sense what you can: pleasure and pain in them, as well as patterns. Attention on Tensions, but not too forced - forced attention can cause overstressing those parts. This attention heals: as the disease progresses, the tension of pain gets intense; this is like vaccination - with intense tension, the negative energy can activate much stronger, more intelligent healing, which later helps you in their normal tensions. There is some good in bad.

  • Body Awareness Exercise: this is to carry the Awareness to physical level. Initially, "Attention" is in front of you: your movement is related to small area. Based on your experience, growing this awareness with long series of effortless exercises, utilizing your gained knowledge, especially doing a little exercise to each part of you, which you become to sense much better - to get some initial habit or knowledge to your body. The "Awareness" in this context is the set of movements you can do and extend into, the world of possibilities you know - as you train your body, you mentally "know" more possibilities. Extend the flexibility, but holistically - each part of your body, but a little bit. Slow, low-intensity exercise for long periods of time gets you into tiredness of life: most part of your life, which helps you the most, are little, effortless activities, for long periods of time; you do not need superhuman powers, but rather to keep going. Effortful exercise - you can do them outside of this conception to support it, but you get tired so you don't want to do this every day, for long periods of time: you want to grow your effortless energy for everyday, with small portion of heavier exercise for these little jobs like carrying heavy things. Even workers, they replace heavy experience with the machines.

Also, The awakening body : somatic meditation for discovering our deepest life, by Reginald Ray, involves a Somatic Meditation from Tibetan culture:

  • Establishes word "Soma" for bodily experience we have.

  • Notices it's a way for common life, not a sanctuary.

  • Gives you the basic exercises. Those involve breathing and some Taoist points and areas - tradition can enrichen you, while my method is rather what you can scientifically prove; you can prove this relation between sensation, ability, observing and becoming aware of the patterns. Concrete breath or areas, then, by my method - by observing, you might get closer to them. At the same time, the Tibetan meditation is safe, gets you there and provides you with traditional elegance.
