Your Awakening Story

Hi everyone. I'm Taylor, I'm from the US, and I'm new here. I've been reading through the site, and honestly, reading the survey results felt like reading my own story. So I wanted to share mine.

In 2024 I was going through the hardest season of my life. I was separated from my children in the middle of a custody battle, and I was barely holding myself together. During that time, someone I trusted in a position of authority pushed me under extreme stress in a way that I still believe crossed serious lines. That's all I'll say about that part. Greetings everyone, very happy to have found this group. Had not seen this topic untill a few days ago, have been reading everyone's story, fascinating! I've deleted two other postings regarding my awakening in 1979, forty seven years ago.

My process does not seem to have the same sights and events on the roadmap of kundalini. Over the years I gain a better understanding of the nature of my awakenings.

Learning to identify and express it has been the longer part. I will express a bit here.

I had always had a practice of some kind or another ... so what folks would call a spontaneous awakening... was a surprise to me. My spiritual teacher of many years has said it is not really spontaneous for it is in divine order with our higher self.

I'm a 55 year-old male with a history of yoga practice stretching back about 15 years.

In late 2024 awareness came online about parts of the body that hadn't been a part of my existence until then, beginning like small fireworks going off in the pelvic floor region and progressing to what at the time felt like full-body orgasms. At first, these experiences were days, or weeks apart, until, about three months later automatic kryas, or yoga postures came on, after which all manner of energetic phenomena occurred.

Since that time, as part of the unfolding, automatic typing takes place, most days, after meditation.
