Where to begin?

Hello

I believe their is an online zoom meeting on friday so that is perhaps a good place to start.

I started I believe going through this process about ten years ago with a none duality experience of no separation.

I'm basically at a point now where a lot of things have changed completely and I'm looking for help to see if anybody understands this or has experience. my consciousness is in a process of returning to the present moment, but within that I find the present moment utterly bizarre now, if I had to summarise it very quickly: I can see god in everything, it has completely transformed the present moment.

I have also had very many strange experience with synchronicity and spiritual signs.

But all of this process has not healed any wounds from childhood, if anything it has given me more anxiety than every before.

Hi Nick, my awakening was 47 years ago, and I welcomed it with open arms. Being a lifelong musician, was like having one foot in the door. I did not have a teacher, nor had I studied spirituality extensively. It was stunningly beautiful, for two months afterwards I was in a state of ecstasy, couldn't work couldn't do much of anything. However, I trusted it with my whole being, never questioned it, never fought or opposed it in any way. It was Love & Beauty. Can't say I saw God in everything but I did see the shining reality of Truth and Love in everything, in the creation. I was 29 at the time and married, my wife divorced me a year later saying I wasn't the same person she married. She was correct. The only possible help I can offer is to go with it, trust it, love it, After a time it will settle into a beautiful, luminous life full of joy and light.

p.s. Don't try to lead it, follow with open eyes.

The Fire Within

The fire burns in each of us, do we fan it into a blaze or do we let it die a slow suffocating death. And what does the blaze consume for fuel? All of the false layers we've learned to live with, we insulate our lives from a crystal clear reality. It takes courage to face oneself, to see truth.

I love this; is it your own work? I love the line “And what does the blaze consume for fuel?” Many things are burned in the sacrificial pyre.

Dark Night of the Soul Reference

Exploring the Dark Night of the Soul Through the Lens of Carl Jung

Here is a nice short article which gives an explanation of "Dark Night of the Soul" I've heard this spoken about in the our various meetings. Reading about it does not make going through one of these Nights any easier. But it is part of the package we are dealing with. St. John of the Cross is also referenced in this article. Some courses I took through Landmark quoted his writing. He's worth a read.
